ABOUT US.
We are a two person attorney family law firm in San Francisco. We pride ourselves on excellent, efficient, and prompt service for our clients and seek the same in a contract attorney. You will be working with one partner and one administrative assistant/paralegal.

REQUIREMENTS.
- 3+ years experience in family law
- Knowledge of San Francisco or San Mateo court rules/procedures
- Reliable; team - oriented; highly assertive with dealing with supervisors and clients. We will expect you to take the initiative with the partner you will be working with and make suggestions on cases and improvements whenever you have them.
- You are currently able to work 15 hours/week in our office in San Francisco (we are comfortable with you working from home sometimes). Preferably, you are interested in transitioning to 30-40 hours a week in the next six months. Unfortunately, we cannot hire anyone who is already working full-time at another firm or has his/her own law practice.
- Your tasks will include:
o Preparing family law forms;
o Preparing Preliminary Declarations of Disclosure;
o Preparing and responding to discovery;
o Drafting and responding to motions;
o Communicating with clients and opposing counsel;
o Taking the initiative to maintain control of the case, with feedback and check-ins with partner;
o Most depositions and hearings will be handled by the partner initially.
