Small San Francisco law firm looking for a full time Admin Assistant/Paralegal to provide administrative and legal support to two attorneys. Areas of practice include: Litigation; Corporate/Transactional and Immigration law. Candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, personable with clients and possess strong written and verbal skills. Must be able to manage numerous tasks with competing priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing litigation and immigration forms.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
General office/administrative support
Maintain litigation files to include filing and creating electronic copies of all documents
Create and update status reports for litigation cases
Case management and calendaring
Oversee and confirm filings, service of process and delivery service requests submitted by mail, messenger, facsimile or electronically
Prepare pleadings and discovery
Type correspondence letters, memos and emails
Follow up with clients as needed
Prepare Immigration forms for filing
General bookkeeping
REQUIRED:
Proficiency with: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Timeslips and Legal Solutions
2+ year experience with civil litigation and a minimum of 1 year experience with immigration law
PREFERRED:
1+ year experience with QuickBooks
Compensation: $18.00/hr., no benefits.
